Continuous Operation Power (COP) |
Primary Operation Power (PRP) |
Continuous power is the maximum power of the generating set when operating on a constant load without limitation of the operating time per year with breaks for maintenance in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. |
Prime power is the maximum power of the generating set when operating on a variable load without limitation of the operating time per year with breaks for maintenance. For continuous operation over 24 h, the average permissible power shall not exceed 70% of the prime power (PRP). When determining the average actual power variable power values that make up less than 30% of the prime power are taken as 30%, and downtime is not taken into account.
Maintenance Scheduled maintenance every 750 engine hours. Extended service interval based on oil analysis. Operating time before major repairs is at least 60,000 engine hours. Engine life, taking into account three major repairs, is at least 240,000 engine hours.
