Continuous power is the maximum power of the generating set when operating on a constant load without limitation of the operating time per year with breaks for maintenance in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

Prime power is the maximum power of the generating set when operating on a variable load without limitation of the operating time per year with breaks for maintenance. For continuous operation over 24 h, the average permissible power shall not exceed 70% of the prime power (PRP). When determining the average actual power variable power values ​​that make up less than 30% of the prime power are taken as 30%, and downtime is not taken into account.

Maintenance
