Emergency Standby Power is the maximum power available to the varying load during the entire period of the fault main power supply network. The average load factor during 24 hours of operation shall not exceed 70% of the rated power of the ESP motor. Typical operating hours of the motor are 200 hours per year, with a maximum use of 500 hours per year. This includes an annual maximum of 25 hours per year at the rated power of the ESP. No overload is permitted. The motor shall not be used for long-term parallel operation. |
Prime power is the maximum power of the generating set when operating on a variable load without limitation of operating time during the year with breaks for maintenance. For continuous operation over 24 h, the average permissible power shall not exceed 70% of the prime power (PRP). When determining the average actual power variable power values that are less than 30% of the prime power are taken as 30%, and the downtime is not taken into account.
